Well you have to remember a few things when fishing in the heat for bass. Largemouth, like most fish, will shut down during the heat of the day. However this does not meant hat you cannot catch them.

Just like us, fish SLOW DOWN during hot weather. This means you have to fish finesse types slow moving baits to catch them. They will also seek the cooler water, which is most ALWAYS deep water.

I would suggest a finesse jig or a drop shot rig with a finesse worm and work deep drop offs slow, or from the back cast out to the middle and slowly work the baits across the bottom.
