 Can i use coral i found on the beach in any of my fish tanks?
I brought home a bunch of pieces of coral from Dominican Republic that i found on the beach when i was on vacation and i want know if i have to do anything to them other than boiling them for it to be safe? I have 2 freshwater tanks and a newt tank. i dont even know how they would look in any of my tanks ( but im willing to try). Can i even put coral in my tank or will it give off too much salt or something that only salt water fish can tolorate? I wanted to put 1 piece in my newt tank because i have guppies in there and i want to give them a better place to hide. is that even more of a bad idea because it might harm the newts?------------Any info will help.(or any web sites)----------- |
