It’s BC’s Family Fishing Weekend.
On June 15, 16 and 17 all Canadian residents can enjoy fresh water fishing in B.C. without a licence.
The free weekend of fishing applies to all ages, but people must fish within the normal rules.
He noted that people find much of the information they need in a free brochure they can pick up from any local sporting goods store or at the BC Access Centre.
