In California where is the best place to fish...and easiest?

Where is the best place to fish but not ocean fishing. Any good lakes rivers etc.

eastern sierra's without a doubt!!! look up mammoth lakes! I live in L.A. and me and my fam drive up there atleast once a year and catch a bunch of trout! ive seriously WAY overcaught my limit up there before. you go trout fishing. you can go to the lakes or do what we do and hit all the streams and rivers and make a killing!
