Where can I fish in Southern California during the winter?

My boyfriend and I want to go somewhere during the winter season to fish. We want a place where we can camp, fish, and possibly something else fun. Does anybody know a helpful site? Something where I can compare the camping sites by how great the fishing is. Is that too good to be true? We live in LA county, and can travel to the beach, Orange County, Irvine; somewhere close. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. We camp in a tent, so that might be important.

My favorite place to camp on the beach where my family and I have been going for 20 years my kids and now my granddaughter. You can camp right on the beach in tents..It's so beautiful.In the morning the dolphins come out and swim close to shore..The fishing is really good..but it's not in Orange County. It's past Malibu close to Oxnard..It's called Broom Beach, Point Magu State Park,La Jolla Cyn. State Beach... 1-800-444-7275....You have to call for reservations...check it out it's really the best..

beach is a no no , too crowded. Lake Morena and Cuymaca are good places. The San Bernardino and Cleavland Forests are good places.
