Default Where can you get a fishing licence in Tracy, California?

I want to get a licence that is for about a week or two. The only place that I have been to, to buy my licence was at Big Five but last time I checked they only allowed people to buy a year licence for 38 dollars. I find it a little unreasonable to pay 38 dollars if I am only planning to fish for a week. So if there are any places that sells licences cheaper please let me know.

DNR or places like Walmart.
You may need a Social Security number and for sure your ID.

That is a set price by the DNR. Ask for a weekend or single day license.

Ain't no other places that will sell them for less. These are licenses regulated by the State and the seller cannot alter the price in anyway. Sorry ;(...< ' ( (( > <

Update: Live Southeast of ya' ie., Merced County ~ if you're a resident of CA., then it's just best to by a license for the year. If ya' go that route keep in mind that she'll expire come Dec., 30th... The only other licenses be for 1 day or 2 days (resident) and 10 days (non-resident). Have givin' you the link for their costs via CDF&G (California Department of Fish & Game)...

Note: Ya' can get one at Walmart in Tracy...
