Which river is best for trout fishing in Northern California?

I live in the Sacramento area and flyfish several of the local rivers like the American, Consumnes, Yuba, and Bear. I am looking for other places (rivers) to fish that I could do in a day. Thanks, Kevin

The Feather river is fun. You can hit it up in Orville or take it way up north depending on how far you wanna drive. I would suggest fishing by the Orville after bay for steelies! I've hooked quite a few out there, I've also seen some BIG fish come out in the 7-10lb range. But be careful there is a huge snag spot from the salmon season.
