Ignore the other two, there are several good brands on the market with the two leaders being Fox and Delkim. it all depends on your bidget the more you pay the more you get. For a basic Fox Micron M, it will retail around £22 for one,. they only have volume, but are extremely reliable and really worth the money, i have a set as back up, just in case i ever break mine, the others are the Micron MX which have volume and tone, then You have the MMXR which have the volume, tone, sensitivity and Radio facility.

However the ones i use are Delkims, they are the best alarms on the market i would say. there cheapest are the Delkim EV which ae £59.50, the middle range are the Delkim Pluses £84.99 (i think) ant the Delkim TXi £122.50 (the ones i use)
All delkims are ultra reliable and all have tone, volume and sensitivity settings, and there aftersales service, should you need them are second to none. plus when you get a run they sound great!! lol
they are made differently to other bite alarm, they use a line vibration sensor rather than a roller wheel, which means depending on the sensetivity setings, they can pick up a tiny twitch that would not pick up on a wheel, or the other extreme is you can have it move several inches of line move before one beep. they definaely put more fish on the bank!!

Dont be tempted by sets of cheap alarms with recievers for under £100, they are not worth it, for a budget alarm the Fox Micron M, for quality and Value Delkim EVs
Hope this Helps

All the best
