Unusual carp baits what have u used?

I'm looking for the unsual strange ,Some brewed concoction but it MUST catch carp

Meatballs in tomato sauce

or

Crushed biscuits, flour, egg and marmite mixed together, rolled into ball and boiled in a chip basket cage in water for 30secs to 1min - until they are slightly rubbery.

Not sure if its that unusual, but I used to catch quite a few floating a bit of dry cat food.
