I found the best time to catch largemouth is at the hottest point of the day in shade along a shoreline or under docks. Early morning works real well as well. As for carp, in Wisconsin those are crap fish, but just watch for them to spawn in late May early June and just cast and snag them. They will come into channels and hang out along shore and rock lines when they spawn. Otherwise, just fishing on bottom for carp since thats where they feed. Use a smelly stick bait and well if they bite, hold on, they fight like hell. happy fishing. |
