the difference between carp rods and other rods?

carp rods are usually full carbine if you look at a carp rod you can tell the difference its thicker and Heaver other rods will be smaller and more flexible. Depending on the rod but ya Carp rods are thick and strong. also if you try to use a carp rod to fish for smaller fish with out a bobber you most likely will not feel the bite on the line

I use my regular fishing pole for carp. I have caught carp up to 2 feet long on it
