a question about carp???

My neighbor has a small pond, less than half a football field in size, and has at least 3 LARGE carp swimming around. Used to be a very good pond for catching bass and catfish. Now, all we seem to catch is some small bass, blue gill, and thats it. We have been told that the carp arent good in a small pond like that. Then we have been told they are benificial for keeping the pond 'clean'. Any opinions on this? And if they are not good, what is the best way for removal?? They seem to LOVE dog food when we throw it out, but never seem to bite the line. We have tried corn, that didnt have any affect on them, neither does the lures and liver. Please, any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Well what you do is get bread and make em into balls. Then put them on your hooks, and throw on a sallow bobber. Throw some bread, or dog food in to get them over, and let them get the hook. Make sure to hav about 15lb test line, or higher so they don't snap the line. set the drag lower then normal too. Have a net ready and pull them out, and let the stay on land to die. Get rid of them pest. Then you can restock the pond with what ever you want.
