What does it mean to adjust to water types when fishing for Catfish?

catfish are most generally warm water fish and are mainly bottom feeders. if i understand your question about water types , if the water is to warm or to cold the fish will generally go into deeper water. when fishing for catfish i most generally use several baits. i will use worms,shrimp and i try to keep them as fresh as possible

Catfish are bottom feeders, meaning that they swim around on the bottom of lakes and ponds feeding down there. Adjust your line to make sure that you are fishing at the bottom of of the lake.
