Can you safely put cory catfish in a tank with goldfish? And if not is there any

cleaner type fish that can? I have a 30 gallon hexagon tank with five small goldfish, thre are very small, about 1/2 inch and two are about an inch in size. I would like to get some catfish to help clean up the excess food/waste and maybe some snails. But I want to know if they be okay in the same tank or not! Thanks in advance!
