most charter boats will only let you stand at the back section of the boat for the simple reason they have a transom back, which mean the back is flat to put it simply, it depends on your style of fishing as for where to stand, obviously if your trolling then at the back, if its jigging with pirks or butter fly jigs then any where, especially the sides with space between you and the next angler, this also applies to bait fishing, ensure you don't take up a anglers space around them and make sure no one does the same to you, Ive seen anglers hit in the face because they were to lose and the other fisherman struck their rod because of a fish and the butt section hit them. |
