Why isn't some "vegetarians" eat poultry and fish?

I heard somewhere they don't consider it real meat. Why not? Birds and fish sure as heck aren't vegetables.
is it, sorry, not isn't.

And to the first person, there are some vegetarians by ethic reasons that eat birds and fish.
