need to know what kind of fish I can catch in Table Rock Lake in late May to...

...early June. Is it worth going? Planning to vacation in Missouri next yearand want to fish there, but not sure it's wise to go if there are no fish to catch!

I have fished there many times . Table rock has wonderful largemouth bass and small mouth bass. There is also fly fishing for trout in the tailwaters. If you fly fish , being at the base of the dam in the morning is magical . Its cold no matter what the air temp is because of the water coming thru the dam from far below the lake surface and a foggy mist surrounds you. The tail waters are 200 ft below the Table Rock lake surface. When you fish Table Rock, fish on windy points and try draging a tube. Also might try supending jerk baits. The lake is very clear. You might even see some bedding fish. Good luck

You could also hit the white river which is very close for some good-sized brown trout...
