What kinds of food do corydora fish eat?

Today I bought 2 corydora fish. My tank does not have any algae yet,as It is fairly new. should I try to grow algae? What should I feed them?

If you want to grow algae, it's no use. Corys don't eat algae as of otocinclus catfish. Usually, shrimp pellets are great and maybe some granules for the catfish. Also, you can feed them algae wafers which mine really likes.

Algae is not too much of a diet requirment in their diet and will NOT clean the tank from algae.

There are a huge variety of foods availible. Some of these are:
- Catfish Pellets
- High Protein granules
- Algae Wafers
- Sinking Wafers
- Bloodworm (Especially enjoy frozen or live)
- Krill (frozen)
- Cucumber
- Lettuce
- Tetra Prima (Small red pellets)
