Why did my mother's fish lose their eyes?

One day, my mother noticed that some of her fish lost their eyes. What disease in the water would cause that?

Maybe the water was really filty that the eyes couldent handle it that it just came out.

LOST their eyes? This was probably caused by a hungry fish. There isn't a disease in which the fish's eyes just disappear. There is a disease called popeye that can cause a fish's eyes to pop out a bit and swell up. This is caused by bad water conditions and is not contagious. If it is this disease, then you need to get some medicine. It can be put directly into the water, however I recommend making a hospital tank for the fish, because the medicine can make your water quality even worse! Good luck.
