Oh I am so sorry!
I am glad you are taking the death so stoically.
When any of mine die, I bury them in the garden.
If you don't have a garden, wrap him in a lettuce leaf and place him into the nearest brook or river.
He'd like that. Back to where he came from, and providing essential nutrition to other life forms (as long as it was a natural death and not some virus!)

Flushing him down the loo sounds a bit uncaring to me; although my brother, who lives in Central London, puts his dead fish down the waste disposal thinngy in the kitchen sink ... Yuk! How gruesome is that?
Please don't end up like my brother!

Im sorry your fish died, did you have it for long time?
I remember being a bit sad when I lost mine.
Hmm I wouldnt flush him down the toilet, but thats just me, although if you feel good about it, you should go for it.

the safe option is to bin as if you flush it my clog up and if you bury it might pop through the ground again due to the gases in the fish forcing it up.
