Help with Tropical fish and the oxygen level needed?

and how do you control the oxygen level, plants...ect?
This is a science assignment i have and the exact question is:

1.Research to find out the level of oxygen tropical fish need to survive. Explain.

2. What would you have to do to control the oxygen level of the water in the aquarium?
