Do they sell deep-frozen fish anywhere outside Russia? I travelled far and wide across Western Europe in the past 13 years or so. But I have never come across, say, in France, the style they deep-freeze fish in my home country. In France they put fresh fish on ice and possibly call it "frozen fish". This method was introduced in Russia only a few years ago. Deep-freeze method is the tradition with Russians. It has obvious drawbacks: it gives the green light to cheaters, for instance; it also casts doubt as to quality and edibility of the frozen product. I wonder if anyone of those who will read my question remembers the time he/she bought deep-frozen fish.
Thanks for reading and replying to my question. |
