Default Too many fish?

I am having an issue. My daughter won 4 common goldfish at the strawberry festival. I went to the store and bought a 10 gallon tank with a filter and airator thing. I put the goldfish and about one inch long in the tank. I took my daughter to our local pet store the next day to ask questions. I asked him how many fish and what types I could have in my tank. He assured me that the size of my tank was sufficient so I proceeded to buy three more goldfish all about 1.5 inches in length and I also bought two small albino catfish. I now have done some research and found out I have nine fish in a tank that can only hold one! What do I do, I can't afford to buy a 100gal tank and I don't have anyone who I can give some of the fish too. I don't want to hurt them or anything. What should I do? Also I am in a small apartment and haven't the space for a large tank either. Your advice would be greatly appriciated.
