ive just got a new tank, had it made at local glass center, its 7.5 ft long, 2 ft high and 2 ft deep.
ive got about £250 to spend on wverything else, but the thing is, apart from the obvious things, fish food, a heater, a filter, and fish, what do i need?
and what fish should i get?? and how many fish can i fit in there?
can you also tell me what substrate and filter media is??
ok, first off, congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that sounds awesome. I have a 6' 2' by 30" tank. you will need substrate, filter media (for big tanks this can get very expensive) a large net (im assuming you want big fish) a 2nd large net, an algae scrubber, a freshwater master test kit (NOT the strips), a stand and canopy (these alone will blow your budget to smithereens) a light strip, and several good books.
