 Why do my dishes, or my water, smell like fish when we have not had fish in the
house? Sometimes my dishes will have a fishy smell to them. It seems to be the water mixing with the dishes that create the smell, as opposed to the water by itself. This is in my kitchen sink, I do not have a dishwasher. I use a clean sponge. It happens with both glass and metal dishes (not sure about plastic). I checked the sediment filter from the sink and it is clean. Can't find any obvious problems. I spoke to the water dept, with no luck. If I need to clean the pipes, any ideas on how to do it? Also, it only happens sometimes. |
