Yeah. We had a fish go round with a square head as it got stuck in the filter and couldn't remove itself. It lived for ages after just looked really weird.
The other possibility is that they are eating each other. You may find skulls on the bottom in corners. Depending how big the tank and the fish are in relation to the tank, you may just have to look harder to find them. We have natural coloured gravel in our tank and 'lost' a small neon not long ago. I found it eventually, hidden under a small pebble.
Good luck with your hunt,
C

What type of fish are they? What type are missing? What type remain? Size of fish? Covered aquarium? Cats?
Please answer some of these.

Its either:
-Fish eating each other
-Fish going into filter
-Fish jumping out of aquarium
-Something taking fish out of aquarium

They might be eating each other. If you think that is not the case, I would check in your filter.

Did you check in the filter? And look in all the decor?
If so they may be dying and the fish are eating them, and it's hard to find the bones..

I know it's weird.. I have a 75 gallon tank and one of my fish just disappeared, I looked all in the tank and recently someone told me to check in the filter... still need to do that...
