How is the muskie fishing in the Mississippi river around western/northern

illiois? i live in the quad cities. Just got back from the chicago muskie show and am trying to find some good waters other than our local muskie lake (lake George) which is overrun by shad and the muskie are very hard to come by. Just curious if something like a bright double cowgirl bucktail along the shorline would do any good?
