How to grill rainbow trout from Costco?
I just bought some rainbow trout from Costco and want to stuff them with lemon/lime/garlic/etc. and put them on the grill. The have the skin and head still on with the guts cleaned out of them. Is there anything else I need to do/clean before grilling these? Should I cut off the head before serving??? Any tips will help. Thanks

WHY are my trout jumping out of the pond? Trouticide? Whats the deal?
My pond is fed by a large lake. My pond has a creek running out of it back into the lake...
Instead of swimming down the creek and back into the lake, my trout are jumping out and landing on the grass in my yard. This pond is 20 years old and I have never seen any behavior like this before. Last week 9 trout all jumped out and landed in a spot in the middle of a 1 acre yard of grass in the size of a coffee can lid...to which I astutely said WTF??
Any ideas on why trout jump onto land like this? Never seen it before. Thanks in advance if you have the answer.

Trout n Traces?
I'm going fishing this weekend for a large trout in a small highland pool which i lost about 1 month ago. It snapped the line last time without much resistance which makes me wonder if it has sharp teeth for a trout and i was wondering if this time i should use heavier fluorocarbon perhaps or play it safe and go for a wire trace? Also, will a trout take a rapalla fished with a wire trace or is it too sensitive? (incase anyone is wondering, yes, i'm sure it was'nt a pike)

I recently asked a question of wheather or not large brown trout would take a rapalla fished with a wire trace. All answers said no. Now i'm wondering if for say a 6lb+ wild trout an eight pound fluorocarbon leader would be too much as i recently lost one which instantly snapped a 4lb leader on low drag.
By the way i'm specifically meaning large trout as this monster one i lost was in a small river pool and the waters are too low for it to escape so i'm going after it this weekend and am wondering what lines i should use bearing in mind i think it has quite sharp teeth.(yes, i'm sure it's not a pike)
